I've shared two of the three cards we will be making.  If you missed them you can find them HERE (Gingerbread) and HERE (Reindeer).  The last card we'll be making in the class features Santa.

Isn't he so cute?  Did you notice the new Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder in the background?  I can't wait to show you this in person ... you're going to love it!  The card stock is Crumb Cake and it looks just like a cable knit sweater!

The adorable Santa is stamped in Memento Black ink and then colored with a Blender Pen and Real Red Classic Ink.  The black is from a Basic Black marker "scribbled" onto an acrylic block and colored using the Blender Pen.

A piece of the Candy Cane Lane DSP makes for a great layer behind Santa.  The sentiment is stamped in the Memento Black ink and it's finished off with piece of the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.  This twine has a great metallic read thread in it ... so pretty!

Class Date:  Sunday, October 16th at 2:00 PM

This month's class features the super-cute characters in the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, plus a bundle upgrade that includes the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch!  There's even a discounted Halloween Add-On with the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set!  Hurry!  Pre-paid registration for the October class ends on October 5, 2016!

Cookie Cutter Christmas Class Kit—Our second class on Sunday, October 16 will feature the Cookie Cutter Christmas (photopolymer) stamp set.  We'll create 12 cards—4 each of 3 card designs!  There are 5 characters in the stamp set, including an adorable eskimo that I didn't even use.  I designed the cards so that you can highlight whichever cookie cutter cutie you desire! 

You'll create 4 each of the following cards:

Class Kit Contents—Your kit will include the Cookie Cutter Christmas (photopolymer) stamp set ($21.00), Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine two-pack ($6.00), and a 1/2 pack of Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper cut to 12" x 6" sheets ($5.50).  Plus, it will also include all of the pre-cut supplies to create 12 cards (4 each of 3 styles) with envelopes.  Instructions will be emailed to you as a PDF Pictorial.

I mentioned in yesterday's post that the scarecrow image was my favorite from the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.  I love this image because it's not just for Halloween.  This is a great fall image!

The card I'm sharing with you today is one that we made at my Stamp Club last month.

This card started with an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Mint Macaron card base folded in half and then was layered with a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Very Vanilla that was embossed using the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This new folder is amazing!  It is so life-like ... it really looks like a cable knit sweater.  Tip:  I have found that SNAIL (or tape-runner type) adhesive does not work well when trying to adhere card stock that has been embossed with the new Cable Knit embossing folder.  The impressions are so deep that it doesn't get down into all of the crevices.  I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

You can really see the dimension of the embossing folder in the photo above ... and the ones coming up!  On top of the embossed Very Vanilla, I used two different patterns from the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series paper.  The first piece is cut at 3" x 3 1/2".  Then the smaller strip is 3" x 3/4".  Again, I would recommend using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue when adhering to the embossed piece of Very Vanilla.  

The scarecrow was stamped in Memento Black ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla and colored using the following markers:  Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede.  After coloring he was punched out using the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  The crow was also stamped on Very Vanilla with the Memento Black and cut out by hand.

I cut a piece of the 5/8" Burlap ribbon, used my Paper Snips to cut between the threads to fray it a little and then adhered it to the back of my scarecrow using SNAIL.  I cut a Very Vanilla oval using the Layering Ovals Framelits dies and stamped the cute sentiment at the bottom using the Memento Black ink.  The crow and scarecrow were then adhered to the oval using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have to admit that when I first saw the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in the Holiday Catalog I wasn't very fond of it.  Boy has that changed!  I am loving this set with the coordinating punch.  These characters are so cute and fun to make!

Today I'd like to share one of the cards from my upcoming Holiday Card Stamp-a-Stack Class series.  This one features the reindeer stamp.  I think this one is my favorite!  And the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper is so fun and festive and goes with these cards so well.

Cased from Peanuts and Peppers

This card starts with a Crumb Cake card base layered with Real Red and Whisper White card stock.  Then, I tied some of the new Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine around it twice and into a bow.  The perfect little accent for this card!

I created two of the banners with the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Papers and the third banner is Whisper White.  All banners were cut with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered with SNAIL.

I stamped the reindeer image in Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake card stock, then use the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to cut it out. (I have a great tip on how to stamp the reindeer and the bow in my class instructions.  See the end of this post for class details.)  It's popped up with Dimensionals onto the Whisper White circle and Real Red scalloped circle that were cut using the Layering Circle Framelits dies.  Isn't the bow adorable?  That stamp is in the set, too.  Best of all ... the punch punches it out!

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink along the bottom to finish off the card.  Isn't is cute?  Would you like to make this card with me?  Here are the details for my upcoming class.  Hurry!  Prepaid registration ends October 5th!
